Sarah Jane Wilsons distinctive and bold use of colour and weave structures in her one-off designs combine to create highly individual scarves and shawls in merino and silk that will keep you warm this winter.
The exclusive fabrics produced by designer-maker Sarah Jane Wilson are handwoven on a traditional floor loom in her studio in Fisherton Mill Gallery, Salisbury.
Inspiration is drawn from nature and landscapes taking often surprising colour combinations and playing with proportions and composition to paint with the yarns to produce each piece. Cushions, throws and table linen are also available and Sarah offers a bespoke design service to match her products to your own interior scheme or outfit.
Sarah has a BA(Hons) degree in Woven Textile Design from The Surrey Institute of Art & Design. Since graduating in 1999 Sarah has exhibited work in a number of exhibitions and galleries throughout the country and in Ireland, including group exhibitions at the Mall Galleries and Oxo Tower in London.
Items are available to purchase from the studio on the first floor at Fisherton Mill Gallery, Fisherton Street, Salisbury, Sp2 7QY
