Quintessentially English, based in the National Trust village of Lacock in Wiltshire, was established by graphic designer, Jacqui Sheard eight years ago.


Guided by an awareness of the natural environment, the exclusive range of organic soaps, creams and oils are based on simple formulations and old world remedies, using Wiltshire-grown wild flowers and wildcrafted herbs.


This unique shop is filled with an assortment of beauty products for the skin, hair and body, and also contains unusual and stunning accessories for the home and garden, all of which come beautifully packaged and stylishly presented.


Quintessentially English offer a wide range of gift ideas, both traditional and contemporary from recycled glass goblets and beautiful jewellery to vintage aprons and antique bells all making ideal presents for birthdays, weddings and anniversaries or just a treat for yourself!


Recently introduced to Quintessentially English is an extensive range of Fairtrade clothing, made from 100% organic cotton and suitable for all the family!


The collection includes funky and colourful childrens T-shirts, playsuits and baby bibs and wonderful figure-hugging tops, T-shirts and jeans for grown-ups, all offering the very best in quality and ethical authenticity.
