Hamptons International has today announced the date of its biannual Town and Country Exhibition which will be held at the companys head office in Grosvenor Square, Mayfair.

The event will take place on Tuesday 5th April from 5-8pm, showcasing a new collection of properties from across the Hamptons International network of 62 offices in the South of England to active London buyers & tenants.

The Hamptons International Town & Country Exhibition provides the opportunity for individuals selling and letting their properties to profile them to London buyers and tenants, as well as providing them with the chance to obtain the very latest advice on relocating to the country from industry experts.

In addition, there is the exclusive chance to preview some of the latest properties on offer with Hamptons International before they are marketed to a wider audience.

The Hamptons International Town and Country Exhibition, which is now in its sixth successful year, utilises the companys local and trusted network of offices to showcase properties. The offices, which span regions across the South of England including Tunbridge Wells, Epsom, Farnham, Winchester, Beaconsfield, Oxford, Bath and the Cotswolds, will all bring properties from both sellers and landlords.

Marc Goldberg, head of sales at Hamptons International comments:

We have had an extremely active start to 2011 with buyer numbers up 10 per cent compared with last year. This uplift in demand has contributed to creating a healthy backdrop to the property market in the areas in which we operate.

Our Town and Country Exhibition enables us to expose properties to a wider marketplace and not just to local buyers. This helps us to maximise the chances of achieving a successful sale at the best price for our vendors.

Andrew Marshall, regional director at Hamptons International adds:

The fact that the event is now running for its sixth year is testament to its value and success. The demand for country properties from London buyers and tenants remains strong and the ability to showcase properties directly to interested parties at the convenient location of our central London head office provides a great opportunity to market country properties to a wider audience.
