Oi Sambistas - Carnival spirit comes to Wiltshire!

Oi Sambistas is a new community musicians and dancers based in Devizes. Following the musical traditions of Samba, a musical form from Brazil, they bring a bit of the Rio Carnival spirit to Wiltshire!

Oi Sambistas is a new community musicians and dancers based in Devizes. Following the musical traditions of Samba, a musical form from Brazil, they bring a bit of the Rio Carnival spirit to Wiltshire!



Oi Sambistas play at a mixture of carnivals and charity events. They play to make money for charity, with this years proceeds being donated to the Youth Cancer Trust.



The Band will be running some new starter classes in January 2011. They welcome anyone to come and have a go. There is no need for any musical training or experience!



Next event: Christmas Busk in Devizes on the 4th December.


Venue: St. Peters school, Bath Road, Devizes


Timings: 7.30pm - 9.15pm


Cost: Donations please
