SWAN, a Wiltshire based charity helping vulnerable people in need have launched their Grand Summer raffle to help raise much needed funds.

SWAN, a Wiltshire based charity helping vulnerable people in need have launched their Grand Summer raffle to help raise much needed funds.


The 1st prize is a Grand Day Out in Salisbury where the winner plus one can enjoy the delights of the historic city of Salisbury starting with breakfast at Coffee Mocha, lunch at the Cathedral Hotel, a guided tour of the city of Salisbury or the cathedral, dinner at the Old Mill Coaching Inn & Restaurant based in Harnham, an overnight luxurious stay including breakfast in the four star White Hart Hotel plus gifts and vouchers from local shops such as Twenty One B, Just Jane, The Salisbury Chocolate Bar and Patisserie and Strawberry Fox.


The 2nd prize is a piece of solid oak furniture from the fabulous range offered by Pintum Outlet Salisbury to the value of 300.


The 3rd prize is an unforgettable experience of speed fund with two vouchers for indoor karting at Wessex Raceway.


Tickets cost 1 each and are available from the Salisbury Tourist Information Centre, the Cathedral Hotel, Just Jane, TWENTY ONE B, SWAN Advocacy offices in 26 Milford Street, Salisbury and 5 Sidmouth Street in Devizes and are also available online at www.justgiving.com/SWAN-Advocacy/.


















The draw for the raffle will take place on 9th September.


SWAN Advocacy supports people with mental health issues, physical and learning disability and people who are affected by aging or suffer with dementia. SWANs clients



have multitude of complex issues such as understanding relationships to abuse of


different kinds, from support with understanding a necessary move to issues with



carers or family. SWAN's clients often cannot cope with the emotional stress needed


to relate to people in a way expected of them by society. SWAN also supports those



who are unable to instruct, or speak for themselves by ensuring their personal rights are upheld. The help clients receive is tailored to their specific needs.
