WONDERFUL WORLD CUISINE ENSURES DINING CLUB IS A ROARING SUCCESS
June 2010 saw the first of Howard House Hotels exciting Dining Club events. Celebrated chef Nick Wentworth and Restaurant Manager Simon Greenwood put together an Italian themed event which was received with resounding appreciation. It is, actually, the best food weve eaten anywhere in the world, said local resident Sara Willan.
Howards House will continue its new venture with a Moroccan event in August, an Alsace theme in October, a celebration of the finest of Wiltshire Game in January and a night of Indian cuisine in March. Each Dining Club evening presents a superb treat for all lovers of fine food and drink. Nick Wentworth fuses his much loved modern British cuisine with a mouth-watering take on each particular theme. Wines are carefully selected to match, and the events begin with the whetting of appetites involving specially created canaps and cocktails. A delicious tasting menu follows. Guests attending the Moroccan evening of August 24th can look forward to sipping a green tea and white cranberry cocktail and indulging in slow braised shoulder of lamb in harissa consomm with apricot and saffron cous cous.
The team at Howards House are thrilled about the success of the Dining Clubs inaugural night and look forward to the coming events.
